I’ve never reviewed anything before, but I feel like this is a good place to start. In Linux world. There are many distros, but really there’s only three that you need to worry about. Debian, arch and fedora. What really makes them stand out is their package managers. And what packages they have in their repositories. Like, are they up to date? Or are they old as a dirt. Packages really make our break a distro.

I will be visiting Fedora on my laptop. Which I have been recently running Linux Mint we’ve also been pretty good. It’s based off of Debian, so it has a lot of the Debian packages, but it also has native flat pack support. Which is nice Because many of the Debian packages are really old. It was really motivated me to make the change of my operating system as I deleted all my fonts by mistake which really borked up the system. I was able to get it back into a working state, but it’s all the fonts look weird, and I’m too lazy to really figure out how to change it. So it’s just easier to reinstall the OS. borked up the system. I have tried many different Debian and arch-based distros, but I’ve never tried anything that is fedora-related. So this will be a very interesting experience for me. And I plan to write about all about it here on the blog.
