Fonts
I don’t usually install fonts often but the other day I was trying to install them on my laptop which was running Linux Mint and Linux Mint by default does not have any way to install fonts. You have to install them manually by dragging them into the font’s folder which is like a pain the butt, and I was trying to do it using the terminal and I broke everything by moving my entire home folder into my font’s directory which is kind of a skill issue on my part, but I still don’t understand why there isn’t just a program that installs fonts like most other operating system 😠.
Syncthing
Yesterday I got same thing to run and work to sync my blog folder from my phone to my computer. (I’ll talk more about my workflow later). The package I installed was called Syncthing GTK. It has a nice GUI. Which I have never seen before. But it looks nice. But over the past few days (yesterday) giving me trouble. By not starting on startup. Which, I have trouble getting applications to auto start. It’s like, is it really that hard? I guess it has to be. I’m just stupid. If anyone has Syncthing tips or tricks, I would love to hear about them. With that said, I should probably add a way to contact me on my website. I usually don’t check my blue sky that often, so you might want to message me there, but your mileage may vary.
I think that’s all I have to say for today. I might come out with another update, but Fedora has actually been working quite well for me. Overall.
