A bit less than a year ago. I bought the CMF phone one. I bought it because I wanted to try out nothing OS. There are some things I like about it, but the things I don’t like about it outweigh the positives. Nothing OS has had some complete dealbreakers well, for me at least. First thing is, it has no NFC i’m assuming they did that because this phone was probably meant more for the Indian market, which they don’t use tap to pay at all. They have some weird QR code system. Which I mean good for them, I guess, but for me and here in the States, it makes having to pay for things impossible with my phone There have been so many times when I drove to the grocery store and forgot my wallet. One of the times I did all my grocery shopping, got all the things I needed, and then it was a time to pay. I realized I didn’t have my wallet. If my phone had NFC and would have been a problem. But I didn’t, so I needed to drive all the way back home Get my wallet, drive all the way back and then finally pay for the groceries. Thankfully, the staff there was very kind and put all the groceries aside. So it didn’t take long to check out, but They even mentioned, like, does your phone have tap to pay? ...

Hello people who read this! In recent months, I haven’t felt the motivation to create or do any projects or anything like that. I really want to find that inspiration again. But it feels like creating things takes all of your soul. Especially making music. It is such a painful process, but the end product is pretty cool. Hopefully in the coming months I will have a project worth talking about here on this blog. It may be in a week it may be in a year, but you’ll have to wait and see. ...

It’s been a week or so since I started this series. If you could call it that. And that MP3 player finally came in yesterday. I also bought a point it and shoot camera. The MP3 Player Honestly, this thing is tiny. Smaller than I expected. And super light. There’s probably nothing in it except for maybe like a circuit board and the battery, The operating system is super basic. It is not the most polished thing in the world by any means, but it gets the job done. It plays music, and I mean, that’s all you really should be asking of a mp3 player. No frills, just does the one thing it was designed to do. I remember someone saying something like that in the reviews, and I feel like it really stuck with me when I started using this player. ...

Intro Recently, I’ve been trying to remove algorithms From my life. Well, the ones that cause an addictive downward spiral So the corporations can show me more ads. In recent years, the corporate world has moved towards infinite growth and appealing to shareholders instead of customers. This concept is referred to as Enshittification*. My hope is to remove many of these algorithms from my life as much as I can. So I can control what media I consume, not what Corporations want me to consume. ...
