It’s been a week or so since I started this series. If you could call it that. And that MP3 player finally came in yesterday. I also bought a point it and shoot camera.

The MP3 Player

Honestly, this thing is tiny. Smaller than I expected. And super light. There’s probably nothing in it except for maybe like a circuit board and the battery, The operating system is super basic. It is not the most polished thing in the world by any means, but it gets the job done. It plays music, and I mean, that’s all you really should be asking of a mp3 player. No frills, just does the one thing it was designed to do. I remember someone saying something like that in the reviews, and I feel like it really stuck with me when I started using this player.

I also like the shuffle on this player, I’m pretty sure it’s truly random. Because services like Spotify don’t truly shuffle your music because they want to try to give you more variety. But honestly, it keeps playing the same, 100 songs. It never moves to any other part of your library. And there’s going to be some songs that, never get played ever again. I’ve heard songs that I haven’t heard in forever. Now that I had this MP3 player finally been able to hear them, I’m like, oh my god, I haven’t heard that song in years.

The camera

I bought it because, honestly, I wanted to point and shot camera so that I could replace other parts of my phone. And also, I just really liked the design. It just, the bold yellow colors, it just for some reason really spoke to me. I also didn’t want a lame-o design from like 2006 that just looked like boomer vibes. Also, it’s waterproof, which my phone isn’t so honestly it can go where it can’t so That’s one positive. Honestly, this camera makes me feel like I’m shooting photos back in like 2013, which was when the last time I owned a point and shoot camera was. So maybe there’s a bit of a nostalgia factor too. I mean, the picture quality’s not the best. But that’s not why I bought this camera. I’m really excited to test out more of the waterproofing capabilities of the camera. Since I’m like near a lake pretty often these days. There will be more updates to come.
